Can I modify my order after its been placed?

We do our best to accommodate changes, but once production has started, your order may not be able to be modified. Each situation is unique so feel free to email us at scottjwoodworking@gmail.com to discuss further.

Am I able to return or exchange an item?

We want you to love your pieces but understand that things happen. As each piece is handcrafted to order, we are only able to offer full returns on items before production has begun. Custom designed, sized or engraved pieces are not eligible for exchange or return.

How long should I expect to receive my order?

As each piece is handcrafted, our general production time is up to four weeks. Custom or large volume orders may take longer.

What is your shipping policy?

Shipping refers to smaller items that can be shipped through a postal carrier.  Our shipping rate is by order weight and by location. As soon as your order ships out, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information. We currently only ship within Canada.

Do you offer local pick up?

Local pickup is available at a specific area in St. Albert, Alberta. You will receive a notification via email when your order is ready!

Can I customize my order?

There is the option to add a custom engraving to your order starting at $15 per engraving.

Are all measurements exact?

As these pieces are hand crafted, sizes may slightly vary. Charcuterie boards can vary in width due to the nature of working with live edge lumber.

What types of wood products are available?

We build all custom pieces out of maple, cherry, walnut and olive. Not all types of wood are available for each product.

How do I care for my new piece?

A product care instruction sheet will be included with every order.

Do you offer warranty on your products?

We are proud of our craftsmanship and the longevity of these handmade pieces. If there are any craftsmanship or design issues, we will fix or replace it, providing that the product care instructions have been followed. However, if we believe that damage is caused by the buyer (eg. putting a chopping/charcuterie board in the dishwasher against the directions of the care instructions), then unfortunately there is nothing that we can do.

How do you accept payment?

In the store, payment options include PayPal or credit card. Please email us at sjwoodworking@gmail.com if you would like to pay with cash or e-transfer.
